One short email,
every morning.
Today's direction, computed for you — not a newsletter.
Chinese medicine reads the day, not the calendar. Every morning at seven, in your own time zone, you get one short email: today's direction in a single line, three everyday foods, one drink, one practice, and one line from the classics. About thirty seconds to read, then you get on with your day.
Get the daily direction
You need your birth date and time — that is what makes the daily line about you rather than about the weather. Everything else is optional and nothing else is asked for.
Why we ask for your birth moment
Chinese medicine treats a birth moment the way a gardener treats a planting date: it says what conditions you started in. Combined with the season we are actually in today, that produces the one-line direction — for example Warm up · Dry the damp — and the food, drink and practice all follow from it.
Two practical notes. We convert your birth time to the Chinese calendar clock, because that is what decides which solar term you were born under — the exact instant matters, not the number on a local clock. And if your birth time is unknown, we use midday; the direction changes only slightly.
What we store, and what we do not
- We store your email address and your birth date, time and time zone. That is the whole list.
- No name, no address, no phone number, no payment details, no health information.
- We never sell, rent or share your address, and we do not run advertising or tracking pixels in the email.
- Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. After that we stop sending immediately.
- Want your details deleted entirely? Reply to any email and we will remove the record.
The rest of this site runs entirely inside your browser: the reading, the food picks and today's card are computed on your own device, and the profile you save on other pages is never uploaded.
